Medics discussionTewkesbury's MP Laurence Robertson has voted against supporting key frontline heroes from across the world who have called Gloucestershire home.

Hundreds of doctors, nurses, and care workers across the county have been putting their lives at risk to help their neighbours, yet Laurence Robertson has backed the government in making it harder for vital NHS staff to remain in the country to help fight the virus.

Alex Hegenbarth, Parliamentary Spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats in the Tewkesbury constituency, said "Hundreds of so-called 'low-skilled' workers have been on the front line saving people's lives and keeping this country going throughout the crisis - this bill spits in the eyes of all those who have worked so hard to help us."

Every Lib Dem MP voted against the bill, which passed 351 to 252.
