What's going on with Grangefield?

Tewkesbury Borough Council informed Councillor Munro at the start of March 2020 that given the exceptionally wet winter, it had decided to delay the wildflower seeding of the Grangefield until later in the year to give the field time to recover and the best possible chance of success with the wild flowers.

GrangefieldThis seemed reasonable at the time and Councillor Munro replied to ask for the management plan to ensure the Field would be mowed and kept in reasonable condition over the summer and an assurance that the wild flower planting would not be delayed again.

By April, it emerged that there was no plan.

The Grangefield is a fantastic asset for our community and Lib Dem Councillors Munro and Stanley will continue to press Tewkesbury Borough Council to maintain the Field in a reasonable condition over the summer.
