Alistair Cameron, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Tewkesbury constituency has congratulated Floortex (Europe) limited, who have their Headquarters in Tewkesbury, on winning the Queen's Award for Enterprise - the UK's highest accolade for business success.

Alistair said: "I am delighted that Floortex have won this highly prestigious award under the category of International Trade.

The award is a tremendous reflection of the dedication of the staff and management at Floortex who have worked hard to achieve this accolade.

It is really great news that a company with a headquarters in Tewkesbury has achieved such a major success.

I am also pleased that Floortex has identified its corporate responsibilities across all areas of its activity and worked to limit its environmental impact.

I hope the management and staff enjoy their celebration and wish them all the best for the future as they consolidate their position as a Global Leader."

Floortex will be presented with their award by the Lord-Lieutenant of the County at an awards ceremony at the Company's Tewkesbury HQ. Dates are still to be finalised.

This will be followed by attendance at Her Majesty The Queen's Reception at Buckingham Palace on July 14th where winners will celebrate their achievements alongside royalty and ministers.
